Home Inspection

Cost of Home Inspection Only $275.00

Krause Home Inspection Service, Inc. will conduct a thorough non-evasive inspection of the visible components of the home with a report that reflects the condition of the property on the day of the inspection. We highly encourage your attendance at the inspection. This is an excellent opportunity for you to ask questions or voice concerns about the home. 

Your inspection report, along with photographs, will be E-mailed to you and your realtor the morning following the inspection.

If you cannot attend the inspection,  we will be glad to e-mail, fax, or mail the report to your desired location. You are always welcome to contact me if you have any questions about the report or the house whether or not you attend the inspection. We extend this service long after your inspection is complete and as long as you own your home.

Below is a list of what we inspect. If you have a special need or concern, please mention it to the inspector so that it can be addressed.

What We Inspect

STRUCTURE
Foundation, basement or crawl space, floors, ceilings, beams and joists, beam supports as well as general exposed framing

EXTERIOR
Site conditions & grading, drainage, retaining walls, porches/decks, fences, walkways, windows, entry doors, steps and exterior wall covering.

INTERIOR
Kitchen components, ceilings, walls and floors, interior doors, stairways, attic, ventilation, if exposed - attic insulation, the existence of heat in each room, operate kitchen appliances, operate clothes washer and dryer

ROOFING
Roof covering, flashing, vents, gutters and downspouts, exposed and accessible portions of the chimney,

HEATING/COOLING
Heating system, fuel supply, distribution type, supplementary heat, venting, central cooling system including the condenser and exposed ductwork

PLUMBING
Water service, interior pipes, hose bibs, waste discharge, water heater, venting

BATHROOMS
Bath fixtures, bath/shower units, shower stalls, fill and operate whirlpool tubs, toilets, vanity sinks and faucets, ventilation

ELECTRICAL
Main service, wiring inside main panel box and all subpanels, circuits, conductors, outlets and fixtures, GFCI protected outlets
